The three-level junction includes two-lane dual-carriageway flyovers, a three-lane dual-carriageway underpass, and an at-grade bridge. It is the first flyover in Bahrain to use a launching girder to install a total of 700 precast viaduct segments ranging from 60 to 140 tonnes each. 

Delmon supplied 50N concrete to satisfy the extremely tight tolerances required for casting of the precast segments. In addition, 60N Smart Dynamic self-compacting concrete was also used.
