Raw Materials
The Company handles many different types of cementitious materials and can offer OPC, SRC, White Cement, GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag), PFA (Pulverised Fuel Ash), and Microsilica.
The Company is currently providing concrete up to 100 MPa (100 N/mm2).
The main aggregate used is Carbonate Limestone, sourced from Stevin Rocks at Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. Gabbro aggregates are available and can be used when required. All aggregates are imported by Delmon Readymix’s sister shipping company Dona Marine through our dedicated jetty facility at Hidd. High-quality white aggregate can also be provided from Stevin Rocks.
Our fine aggregate is a blend of double washed marine sand, supplied by our sister company Nass Sand Processing Plant, and a specially processed 0-5mm limestone grit from Stevin Rocks in Ras Al Khaimah. Both sands are approved by the Ministry of Works.
Delmon has access to leading admixture companies and can offer many solutions using these chemicals. We have significant experience in the use of retarders, super plasticisers, self-compacting concrete admixtures, water-proofing systems, polypropylene, and steel fibres.
